IMMUNE SUPPORT BREAKFAST

This is intended to be used to strengthen the immune system, and is not designed to be hypoallergenic. Modify it as needed for your foodpersonal dietary needs.

Rolled Grains (oats/rye/barley/rice flakes)                   4 Cups                 Fiber, Balance cholesterol

Oat Bran                                                                                 2 Cups                 Balance cholesterol

Dried Fruit (raisins/dates/blueberries)                          1/2 Cup               Flavor

Sunflower Seeds and/or Pumpkinseeds                          1 Cup                  Protein source

Raw, unsalted Nuts (walnuts/Almonds)                         1 Cup                  Protein source

Lecithin Granules                                                                 1 Cup                  to emulsify fats

Flax seeds (ground seeds)                                                   1 Cup                  Omega 3 oils

Milk thistle (ground seeds)                                                 1 Cup                  Protect the liver

Spices (ginger, cinnamon, fennel, others)                       1 tsp. of each.     Flavor, medicinal uses

  • Grind flaxseeds and milk thistle seeds (available at health food stores) in a coffee grinder, blender, or meat grinder. Next, combine all ingredients and keep in a glass jar.
  • Soak for 15-30 minutes or longer before eating (i.e. overnight). Use water, nut-milk, rice milk, soymilk, apple juice, etc. or mix with yogurt, vanilla extract and maple syrup.
  • The immune breakfast can be eaten either hot or cold.
