Goals of dietary therapy
- To give relevance and value to nutrition
- To provide adequate nutrition of both macro and micro nutrients
- To selectively starve tumor cells
- To support the immune function
- To create a palatable diet
- To help individual design a diet that fit their lifestyle and expectations
The overall goal is to focus on calories and macronutrients.
Protein 25-30% Carbohydrates 40-50% Fats 20%
Water: 8 glasses if spring water a day. Avoid chlorine and fluoride if possible.
General guidelines
- Eat small frequent meals
- Chew food well
- Plate should be half veggies or salad
- Organic food should be emphasize due to pesticide residues
- Hormonal free range chicken or beef
- Unrefined and unprocessed foods are the best

- Milk
- Dairy
- Red Meats
- Coffee
- Eggs
- Microwave foods
- Foods to avoid
- Sugar
- Alcohol
- Saturated fats
- Trans-fatty acids, margarine’s
- Deep-fried foods
- Nitrates
- Smoked meat
- Food Coloring
- Aluminum cookware
